WOOD BURNERS

OCTOBER 2008 OUR INSURANCE COMPANY OF THE PAST THREE YEARS CALLED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO
DO A COST/LOSS SURVEY OF THE CABINS. AFTER THE INSPECTION I WAS INFORMED TO EXPECT A LARGE RATE INCREASE IN MY NEXT BILLING. DUE IN FULL BECAUSE OF THE WOOD BURNERS. HE SAID HE WILL RETURN EARLY MARCH 2009 TO DETERMINE. (RETURNED IN MARCH 2009, I ADVISED THE WOOD BURNERS WOULD NO LONGER BE OFFERED OR USED AND THE UNITS WOULD BE SEALED.)

OUR PHONE SYSTEM

EFFECTIVE MARCH 2011 WE HAVE REMOVED ALL THE CABIN PHONES. LIGHTNING HIT DAMAGED THE MAIL PHONE BOARD.

GENERAL COMMENTS
Almost daily folks ask us for recommendations of other cabins and what they may have open.
We advise folks that we do not make any recommendations and certainly have no idea what they may have open.
As one example of why we do not recommended other cabins. (A local cabin business allows dogs, recently a group of people while walking had 3 dogs with them. Can you imagine what that cabin looked like and smelled like when they departed. plus the fleas and dandruff.) We offer pet free cabins, not to worry about what may be deposited on the grounds while walking around. Also we are on location 24/7 no remote check in.
