Eureka Springs Events, Spring 2020

There is always something to do in Eureka Springs. No matter who you are, you can find some fun here. I've listed some of the events going on this Spring for your perusal. Don't forget, there are always unique places downtown to shop and great places to eat. There are all sorts of outdoor activities at hand that range from easy hiking to extreme mountain biking, with a whole lot in between. Eureka Springs in the Ozark Mountains is a wonderful getaway for everyone to enjoy. It's an even better experience if you stay in our cabins... Have a great day!

March 7th - Saturday - Asleep at the Wheel 7:30 pm

Grammy Award winning country band will perform at the Eureka Springs Auditorium with special guests the Red Dirt Rangers. Tickets are available from $49 to $59 at

March 14th - Saturday - St. Patrick's Day Parade 2:00 pm

This annual parade is downtown from Spring Street to Main Street. Be sure to wear some green to avoid getting pinched...

March 21st - Saturday - 39th Annual Victorian Classic 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

This is a certified 10K run through the hilly streets of Eureka Springs. This is a challenging event sponsored by the Rotary club, the proceeds of which will benefit local children. There is also a 2 mile walk/run just for fun.

March 21st - Saturday - Diamonds and Denim Ball 6:00 pm to 11:30 pm

This is the second annual fundraiser for the Carroll County Good Shepherd Humane Society. This ball will be held at the Inn of the Ozarks. Eats include a BBQ buffet and dessert. There is a cash bar, live and silent auctions and music by The Greasy Greens Band from Little Rock. Tickets are $60 per person at

March 27th - Friday - The Charlie Daniels Band 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm

March 28th - Saturday - Kite Festival at Turpentine Creek 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

We fly a kite at this every year! Located at the big cat rescue, Turpentine Creek, which is just 7 miles south on 23. Loads of fun for this free event. There is a charge for admission to the refuge.

April 3rd to April 5th - Spring Diversity Festival

Spring Diversity Weekend now has enough events to qualify as a festival. For more information go to

April 4th - Drumming in the Park 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

The first Saturday of every month the Basin Spring Park hosts Drumming in the Park. Bring your drum and come make some noise. All are welcome. This is a very cool experience that you won't want to miss.

April 10th and 11th - Celebrate Jesus Music and Parade

There will be music in the Basin Spring Park on Friday and Saturday with a Parade on Saturday Afternoon.

April 10th and 11th - Crow Moon Music & Arts Festival

This is the first music festival of the season located at the Farm. The price of admission is $50 +tax for 12 bands over 2 days of music to include Bluegrass on Friday and Rock on Saturday. Rain or shine. Buy your tickets here -

April 10 to 12th - 33rd Annual Ozark Mountain UFO Conference

April 11th - Second Saturday Music in the Park 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

The Basin Spring Park hosts free music by journeyman artist John Paul Kieth.

April 12th - Easter Sunrise Service 7:00 am to 9:00 am

Come celebrate at the Easter Morning Sunrise Service at The Great Passion Play at the foot of the Christ of the Ozarks Memorial Statue, aka "Big Jesus". For more information visit

April 18th - 9th Annual Cats at the Castle Fundraiser

Join Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge associates and supporters for a wild evening of fun and fundraising at the 8th Annual Cats at the Castle fundraiser! The theme is the "Roaring 20's" and the tickets are $100 a pop. This event will be held at the Castle Rogue's Manor. There will be dinner, an open bar, live entertainment and both a live and silent auction. Ticket availability is limited.

April 22nd to April 26th - Spring Fling Bike Rally

Annual Spring Fling Bike Rally hosted by the Cat House Lounge. There will be live music, food and plenty to drink.

April 24th and 25th - Spring Yards and Yards of Yard Sales

If you like yard sales, this is the weekend for you. The spring Yards & Yards of Yard Sales event will take place on Friday and Saturday, April 24-25 at locations citywide.

April 25th - Spring Plant Sale and Earth Day Festival

The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks will hold its 2020 Annual Plant Sale to the public on April 25th in Fayetteville, AR. This year they are extending the hours of the public sale on Saturday, April 25 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. There is no admission fee, but attendees are encouraged to bring cash or checks to purchase merchandise from area vendors. The Earth Day Festival begins on Saturday, April 25, from noon to 4 pm.

May 1st to 31st - May Festival of the Arts

All month in May more than 350 working artists in all mediums will be showcasing their Art in one-of-a-kind art exhibits, demonstrations, performances, culinary arts, free music in the park, and the wildest street party thrown by artists. For a complete schedule of events visit

May 2 - The ArtRageous Parade 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm

One of the biggest parades in Eureka is the ArtRageous Parade. This parade is open to everyone! Whether you’re a local, visitor or tourist – get creative and show us your inner, vibrant self. We all have a little Eureka magic in us. Stroll through the streets of Eureka with us & feel the love! This year's theme is, "The Circus Has Always Been in Town!" The Basin Park brings you the Kris Lager Band for May! The energy this band throws out from the drop of the first note creates a feel good dancing, singing, and hollering great time.

May 8th to May 10th - Eureka Springs Music, Art and Jeep Jamboree

Eureka Springs Chamber partners with 3B Off Road to host the 2nd Annual Jeep Fest. This 3 day event is packed full of music, art & 4x4's! Jeeps & 4x4's get to show off their sport and capabilities on the newly made obstacle course. Mud, Climbing, Rock Bouncing... we've got it all. 3B Off Road is 150 acres with over 50 Miles of off road trails rated from intermediate to extreme. Concerts each night with headliner, HEATH SANDERS! We've also got Mountain Sprout, Jesse Dean, Coyote Claw, Black Note & More. Vendor booths, Kids Zone, Art Exhibits, Food Trucks & Restaurant, Beer Garden & More. May 17th - 15th Annual Books in Bloom Literary Festival 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm

The 15th Annual Books in Bloom is a celebration for writers and readers! Over the course of the afternoon, hundreds of readers and those interested in writing can attend author presentations and have conversations with writers who are very successful in their genres, as well as, purchase books and have them signed by the authors. May 20th to 23rd - Plein Air of Eureka Springs

Eureka Springs has always been an art destination in Arkansas and is a beautiful place to “open air”  or “Plein Air” paint. In 2004, founder Jody Stephenson started the Plein Air Painters of Eureka Springs and we began to regularly see artists painting in the open.

Artists are always looking for beautiful and distinctive scenes to paint, and this year’s 2020 Invitational event is offering some of the finest artists in Arkansas and United States, the opportunity to paint the beauty and uniqueness of Eureka Springs. May 27th to 31st - MCA National Eureka Springs Mustang Week

The Mustang Club of America has awarded the Midwest Blue Oval Club a National Event for 2020, the MCA Nationals Eureka Springs Mustang Week. We will have a true MCA National Judged Show, Road Rallys, Cruise Nights, Rare Fords, Lincolns and Mercurys from all over the States and much more. For more information visit
